Initially founded in 1914, Harrogate Town didn't officially play their first game until 1919 due to World War I. Also known as the Sulphurites, the club are based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire and play home games at Wetherby Road. Harrogate have spent the majority of their history playing outside the Football League, eventually securing a spot in the EFL after winning promotion via the National League play-offs in 2020.
